Bursting onto the Australian music scene and hailing from the Gold Coast, Catchpole have been tantalising crowds with their wildly energetic performances, funk-fueled sound and stage presence like no other. 

The young rock band brings together elements from a range of other genres including funk, pop, blues, disco, soul, reggae, folk and psychedelia to create a unique but familiar sound, full of catchy melodies and heavy grooves that are bound to get any audience to their feet.

Musical comparisons have been struck with the likes of the Red Hot Chili Peppers, INXS, Led Zeppelin, Pink Floyd and Sticky Fingers, with Catchpole still maintaining a modern sound of their own.

With an extremely loyal fan base that love to fill a dance floor and never miss a gig, the band has been selling out their shows across Brisbane, Byron and the Gold Coast as well as jumping on some tours with artists such as Lime Cordiale and Great Gable. 

The 5-piece consists of a Hutchence-esque front man with a voice and moves that you’ll fall in love with, along with a soulful, virtuosic guitarist, an uncompromisingly groovy bassist, an atmospheric keys wizard and a wickedly talented female drummer. This combination makes Catchpole one of the best live bands in Australia right now. The boys (and lovely lady) are set to release their debut album in early 2022 including the fan-favourite singles “Watermelon”, “Vanessa” and “The Twist”
